Helen here, adding my thoughts to the mix.
I am excited about going to Bethel... and nervous. At this stage in getting ready for a trip I generally don't want to go - there's too much to do and I'm dis-inclined to leave the security of hearth & home. But on the other hand, I am excited to see the Californian church community on the ground and explore what they have built together. I am hungry for more of the presence and grace of God in my life. I am hungry for us at MFC to discover more of the good things that God has prepared for us.... it's an adventure! And as the explorer Mallory said, "The greatest danger in life lies in not taking the adventure." So, onward and upward - and back to the packing!
